How To Speed Up Your Fertility Journey

Are you eager to start your journey towards motherhood? Perhaps you've been trying for a while and want to speed up the process. Well, you're in the right place. This post will walk you through three crucial steps you can take to get pregnant faster.

I'm Dr. Gina, and I've been guiding thousands of women and couples on their fertility journey for over two decades. The process of conception can be likened to planting seeds in a garden – it requires preparing the ground, choosing the right seeds, and providing the right amount of sunshine and water. So, let's delve into these three steps and make your fertility journey a successful one.

Step #1: Clear the Slate
Think of this step as preparing your garden for planting. In the world of fertility, it means conducting a fertility health check-up to understand your current state. This will involve reviewing your personal history, medical diagnoses, and the different strategies you've already tried.

Key factors to investigate include whether you are ovulating and if you're dealing with conditions like PCOS or endometriosis, which can impact fertility. It's also important to consider your partner's health and any potential impact on your fertility. Furthermore, weight, gut health, and nutrient absorption are vital factors, as both being overweight (BMI over 35) or underweight (BMI under 19), and having poor gut health can impact fertility.

To accomplish this, you can gather documentation from doctors, specialists, and consider getting a fertility panel done. You should also keep a journal documenting your emotional and physical state, including factors like stress levels, sleep quality, food habits, menstrual health, and how you feel about your current fertility journey.

Step #2: Planting the Seeds
Once your ground is ready, the next step involves planting and nourishing the seeds or enhancing your fertility foundation. Remember, a strong foundation is key to ensuring successful conception. Therefore, after the initial fertility foundation review, you can choose specific fertility supports tailored to your needs.

These fertility enhancements can take various forms, including improving gut health, maintaining regular eating times, and incorporating specific fertility-enhancing foods into your diet.

Starting your day with 16-20oz of pure water within the first 15 minutes of waking up, and incorporating meditation, yoga, and other stress-reducing activities into your daily routine can be hugely beneficial. It's also important to eliminate toxins known to disrupt hormones and cause infertility in both men and women.

Remember, it's crucial to be realistic with your fertility goals. Avoid overdoing things and strive for a balanced lifestyle.

Step #3: Water and Sunshine
The final step in the process is akin to adding water and sunshine to your garden. Consistency is the key here, ensuring that your new fertility habits are nourished regularly.

Understanding that the journey to conception involves regular evaluations of what is working or not working for you is essential. Sometimes, you might need to seek help to figure out the lifestyle and self-care habits that need to be prioritized and changed. Remember, this journey is not just about achieving fertility but about nourishing your health for many decades to come.

Bonus Tip: The Importance of Support
The journey to conception can be challenging and often lonely, making support an essential element of the process. Building a community of women who share the same goal can provide invaluable reassurance. Sharing your ups and downs with not only fertility experts but also others on a similar journey can help make the process less overwhelming.

Now that you have the knowledge to clear your slate, plant the right seeds, and provide the necessary sunshine to your fertility journey, it's time to get started!
